Orchestrating creative tasks with natural language across Adobe apps

An AI assistant can execute described outcomes across Photoshop, Premiere, and Express, helping designers coordinate tasks across tools from a single prompt.

Why the human is still essential here

Humans remain responsible for creative direction, brand judgment, and selecting which of many generated options is right for the audience and moment.

How people use this

Cross-app campaign build request

A designer describes the desired launch asset in plain language and the assistant creates, retouches, resizes, and prepares deliverables across image, video, and social tools.

Natural-language asset adaptation

Teams ask the assistant to convert one approved concept into multiple channel formats, with AI coordinating edits across apps instead of requiring manual switching between them.

Prompted mockup and polish pass

Creatives tell the assistant to place artwork into a mockup, refine the image, and output presentation-ready files while the underlying tasks are handled across Adobe applications.

The most useful thing Adobe showed got the least applause.

The most useful thing Adobe showed got the least applause.

I was at the Adobe Creative Conference in Ahmedabad, hosted by MicroGenesis TechSoft. Everyone leaned in for the Firefly demos. I was watching the workflow underneath.

Three things I actually wrote down.

Firefly Graph. A node canvas where each step is a block. One node generates the image, the next masks it, the next shifts the color, the next resizes it for every channel. You wire it once, then run the whole chain again for the next campaign. The workflow becomes a reusable asset, not something living in one person's head.

Boards straight into Premiere. Storyboard and b-roll on one canvas, pushed into the edit with no export, no download, no re-upload. The work never leaves the line.

The Firefly AI Assistant across all of it. Describe the outcome in plain words and it runs the steps across Photoshop, Premiere and Express. The handoffs between apps just vanish.

Here is why it hit me.

Generating is cheap now.

Anyone can make ten options in a minute.

The hard part left is judgment.

Which chain fits this brand. Which of the ten fits this moment, this person. A node cannot decide that. A prompt cannot either.

So I left glad, not nervous. The machine handles the busywork. The taste stays human.

If your tools ran end to end like that, what is the one step you would keep human?
