Powering internal hiring copilots, conversational recruiting database search, candidate-insights assistants, and TA Ops agents

Governed AI access to recruiting data enables internal hiring copilots in Slack or Microsoft Teams, recruiter-facing assistants that retrieve live candidate, application, job, interview, offer, note, and feedback context, answer nuanced questions from candidate records and hiring workflows, generate reports and pipeline summaries from natural-language queries, identify stale activity, and take permission-aware actions such as logging notes or advancing stages without moving sensitive hiring data outside approved systems.

Why the human is still essential here

Talent teams still set the workflow rules, permissions, and approval guardrails; decide what to ask or automate; verify retrieved evidence and recommendations; interpret outputs and reports; and use judgment when communicating with stakeholders or changing candidate processes.

How people use this

Slack recruiter copilot

A Slack-based assistant answers questions like which roles are blocked, who still owes interviewer feedback, and which offers are nearing expiration using live recruiting data.

Candidate record lookup

A recruiter asks an AI client to pull the latest candidate record, including stage, interview schedule, notes, and recent feedback, before a stakeholder meeting.

ChatGPT / Claude

Candidate debrief prep

AI answers questions about why a candidate advanced, what interviewers flagged, and how they match the role criteria using linked ATS evidence.

Your new recruiting superpower: PCRecruiter MCP

The power of PCRecruiter is getting a massive upgrade: we are bringing the Model Context Protocol (MCP) directly to your recruitment database.

Every recruiter knows the hassle; you need information, a report, a change to the data, or even a complex custom workflow, and you need it quickly. Often that means having to build a search query, run an export, create a spreadsheet, develop an integration, or countless other uses of precious time you'd rather spend talking to clients and candidates.

Introducing the Ashby MCP Server

Today, we’re launching the Ashby MCP Server in Open Beta, available on all Ashby plans.

MCP gives AI tools a standard way to connect to external systems. With Ashby’s MCP Server, customers can make live recruiting context from Ashby available to MCP-compatible AI clients like ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, and others, without building custom middleware or maintaining a bespoke integration.

Greenhouse Launches MCP, Giving Hiring Teams a Governed Way to Connect AI Tools to Greenhouse

New York, NY β€” May 7th, 2026: Greenhouse, the leading hiring platform, today announced the Greenhouse MCP (Model Context Protocol), a new capability that gives customers a governed way to connect AI tools directly to Greenhouse. Developed with input from customer design partners, including StubHub and Komodo Health, the Greenhouse MCP will be rolled out to customers starting in June.

But connecting powerful models to sensitive hiring data has been difficult to do safely. Many organizations want to automate and improve existing workflows, enable new kinds of actions across systems, and experiment with AI-assisted ways of working. Doing that outside the hiring system of record creates risk. The Greenhouse MCP is designed for exactly those goals, a standard, permission-aware way for approved AI tools and agents to connect to Greenhouse, inside the structure teams already rely on.
