Improving pre-intake client discovery

AI-informed visibility analysis helps personal injury firms identify how injured people encounter legal guidance before intake and adjust their presence so they appear earlier in AI-driven research journeys.

Why the human is still essential here

Attorneys and firm leaders remain responsible for client communication, legal judgment, and ensuring that earlier AI-era discovery leads to trustworthy counsel rather than automated legal advice.

How people use this

Pre-intake question mining

Teams analyze the questions injured people ask ChatGPT and Perplexity before contacting a lawyer so the firm can create content that matches real client language and concerns.

Trust-focused FAQ drafting

Generative AI helps draft plain-language FAQ pages, attorney bios, and case-type explainers that make the firm easier for answer engines to summarize during early research.

24/7 intake chatbot handoff

When prospective clients reach the site after AI-guided research, a legal intake chatbot collects accident details and books consultations before the lead goes cold.

Would you trust a lawyer AI has never heard of?

Would you trust a lawyer AI has never heard of?

That's the question our team has been chasing for the last year, and it's basically what I've spent the last nine years building toward, working alongside personal injury attorneys who take care of people on the worst days of their lives.

Injured people don't call a law firm first anymore. They ask AI. What happened to me. Do I have a case. Which attorney can I trust. All before anyone at a law firm even knows they exist.

We named it: the Pre-Intake Problem. Then we built something to measure it, the AI for PI Index, which checked how AI platforms describe and recommend roughly 1,800 personal injury firms across 259 U.S. markets. We also wrote a mini-book on it, because apparently that's a thing we do now.

This week, LawSites and Reuters picked it up.

The takeaway: firms need to show up earlier, before the search, not after. And injured people deserve to find a lawyer they can trust, not just whatever shows up first.

Huge shoutout to Nick Kringas . He spent three months on this data and refused to let us publish it until it was right.

Nine years in. Still can't believe this is the job.
