Turn quotes into orders with tool chaining

AI experiences can combine reusable CRM tools to find products and price lists, recalculate pricing, create quotes from opportunities, and convert approved quotes into orders.

Why the human is still essential here

Humans still approve commercial terms, manage exceptions, and confirm that quotes and orders reflect the real deal before commitment.

How people use this

Renewal and upsell quote generation

AI pulls products, price books, and commercial terms from the open opportunity to generate a draft renewal or upsell quote for rep review.

Salesforce Revenue Cloud / DealHub

Guided pricing for complex deals

AI recommends valid product configurations, discount ranges, and approval paths so reps can assemble accurate quotes without manual spreadsheet work.

PROS Smart CPQ / Conga CPQ

Approved quote to order conversion

Once a quote is approved, AI chains CRM and order actions to create the sales order, carry over line items, and keep the pipeline record in sync.

Dynamics 365 CX MCP Server – Sales: Bringing headless CRM to supported AI experiences

Summary Dynamics 365 CX MCP Server – Sales is now generally available, giving supported AI agents and seller experiences access to trusted Dynamics 365 Sales data, business logic, and actions without requiring sellers to work inside a single CRM interface. The server provides 59 governed tools spanning opportunity, lead, account, activity, pricing, quote, and order scenarios, while existing Dataverse roles and permissions continue to control access. This approach moves CRM toward a system of action, allowing Microsoft and customer-built AI experiences to reuse Dynamics 365 Sales capabilities across the tools sellers already use.
